Pride in London 2023 Guide
Why is Pride in London such an important event for me and my friends every year? Last week on my instagram, I wrote a caption about why I am an ally for the LGBT+ Community. To sum it up, I want to simply provide the same public love and support that my friends and family (both blood and chosen) who are in that community show me everyday in supporting my dreams and journey into living the expat life i lead now. I am incredibly proud to be an ally who helps start the conversations to break steorotypes and to encourage others to live as authentically as they can. But, If you’re going to talk the ally talk you better walk the ally walk.

This year myself and 34 of my colleagues got the opportunity to be one of the 30,000 individuals to march in the Pride in London Parade this past weekend. And for most all of us it was our first time marching, what an experience!

We started off our day with a brunch to kick off the festivities at the The Clachan. After a hearty meal and some libations we were ready to line up for the walk.

Little did we know we’d be waiting for serveral hours but we kept our spirits up and once we started walking through the parade route the energy and the love from the crowd around us was radiating. It was such a fun day and to see how much our LGBT+ colleagues were overjoyed not only the experience by the public support of their colleagues is something I’ll never forget.

Until the next adventure,
